A banned organization has sent a letter to Mankauli resident of Fakuli OP of Muzaffarpur and senior RJD leader Pradeep Yadav demanding extortion of Rs 10 lakh as compensation. There has also been a threat of murder if extortion money is not paid. The RJD leader received the letter demanding extortion and threatening murder on Tuesday morning when he went to the hallway outside his house. After this, the RJD leader has filed an application in Fakuli OP and lodged a complaint. Even 10 years ago, Naxalites had attacked the RJD leader’s house and killed his elder brother and son. In such a situation, RJD leader Pradeep Yadav and his family are in panic after receiving a threatening letter once again. The police is busy investigating the matter.

The RJD leader has filed an application in the police station and told the police that when he went into the hallway of his house on Tuesday morning, his eyes fell on the window. There was a paper placed on it. When the RJD leader opened the paper, it was a letter written on the letter pad of a banned Naxalite organization.
Naxalites demand extortion of ten lakh rupees
In that letter addressed to Pradeep Rai, it was written that your murder was certain. Our organization has suffered a lot due to the arrest of its comrades and police brutality, but we have taken revenge for the murder of one of our comrades. This revenge has been completed by the murder of your son. Therefore, while reducing your death sentence, a fine of Rs 10 lakh has been imposed as compensation. You will have to pay this amount in two installments.
Also threatened for not giving information to the police
It was further written in the letter that if we agree to this agreement then we will make a missed call thrice on the number given by our area commander. When the mobile is off, you will send the message ‘I am agree’. Won’t try to talk. Otherwise it will prove fatal. It would be dangerous to inform the police or seek help. If you accept my words then our organization will meet you soon.
Panic spread in the family
The RJD leader and his entire family are in panic regarding this letter sent by the Naxalite organization. The RJD leader has applied in Fakuli OP along with a photocopy of the letter received from the organization. Fakuli OP in-charge Mohan Kumar has received the application and informed the senior police officer about this information.
RJD leader’s brother and son have been murdered in the past
Let us tell you that the elder brother and son of RJD leader Pradeep Yadav have also been murdered. Let it be known that on the night of June 24, 2013, the house of RJD leader Pradeep Yadav was attacked by Naxalite organization. In this attack, RJD leader’s elder brother Laxmi Rai and son Prashant Kumar were heinously murdered. RJD leader Pradeep Yadav had a narrow escape in this incident.
