Bihar is soon going to get the gift of another Vande Bharat Semi High Speed Express train. In the coming days, this Vande Bharat Express will run between Patna and New Jalaiguri. From now on, the people of Seemanchal region will benefit most from the operation of this train. This train will reach New Jalpaiguri via Katihar and Kishanganj. Railways has released its time table. While this train will take five and a half to six hours to travel from Patna to Kishanganj, this train will take seven hours to reach Jalpaiguri. Due to which the connectivity of Patna and Seemanchal will become better than before. Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) had sent a proposal regarding this.
Distance from Seemanchal to Patna will be reduced
Let us tell you that the Railway Board has approved the proposed Vande Bharat Express from New Jalpaiguri to Patna. There was a demand to run more trains from Seemanchal area to Patna. On this demand, Railways has given a big gift and approved the proposed Vande Bharat Express. Now with the launch of this train, people coming to Patna from Seemanchal area will be able to complete the journey to Patna in less time.
Patna to Jalpaiguri in seven hours
This train for Patna will leave from New Jalpaiguri at 6 am, which will reach Patna at 1 pm after stopping at Kishanganj and then Katihar. The journey from NJP to Patna will be only 7 hours. This train going towards Patna, after leaving New Jalpaiguri, will reach Kishanganj at 7 am and Katihar at 8:30 am. In return, it will leave from Patna at 3 pm, reach Katihar at 7:30 pm and Kishanganj at 8:50 pm and reach its destination NJP at 10 pm.
Train will run six days a week
This Vande Bharat Express train will run six days a week between New Jalpaiguri and Patna, this train will not run on Tuesday. It is noteworthy that the people of Kishanganj were eagerly waiting for the Vande Bharat train. The operation of this train will be a great convenience for the passengers of the four districts of Seemanchal region (Araria, Purnia, Katihar and Kishanganj). The stoppage of this train is proposed only at Kishangan and Katihar. The maintenance work of the train will be done at New Jalpaiguri station only.
Third Vande Bharat to open from Patna
This will be the third semi high speed Vande Bharat Express to open from Patna after the commencement of operations of One Day Bharat between Patna and New Jalpaiguri. Currently, Vande Bharat Express trains are being operated from Patna between Ranchi and Howrah. Apart from this, during the time of Diwali-Chhath Puja, Railways had run a special Vande Bharat train between Delhi and Patna.
Vande Bharat will also run to Lucknow via Ayodhya
Apart from this, Railways is also working on a plan to run Vande Bharat between Patna and Lucknow soon. This train will run via Ayodhya. Northern Railway Lucknow Division Administration has also completed the route survey for this train. Notification for running this train will be issued before the inauguration of the Ram temple in Ayodhya.
