Crime News: In Muzaffarpur district of Bihar, the wife along with her brother and mother had murdered her husband. The police has revealed the incident of this murder. Police has revealed the murder case of MR Chandan Kumar Singh (30), who had come to his in-laws’ house in Beruari village of Gaighat police station area of the district. The special team formed under the leadership of ASP East Shahriar Akhtar has revealed this. The deceased’s wife Manisha Kumari, brother-in-law Manish Kumar Singh and mother-in-law Pinky Devi, who were involved in the murder, have been arrested. At the same time, another accused Vinit Kumar is still absconding. The police team is conducting raids to arrest him. The reason behind the murder is a long-running dispute between husband and wife.
Wife had lodged FIR
SSP Rakesh Kumar has revealed the murder case. It is also informed that on November 30, Manisha Kumari, resident of Beruari village, had given a written complaint at Gaighat police station. In this it was told that on 25 November 2023, her husband Chandan Kumar Singh had come to his in-laws’ house. He left the house at 9 pm while talking on his mobile and has not returned yet. Police registered an FIR in the matter and started investigation. Meanwhile, on December 1, information was received that the body of an unknown person was buried in the field behind the Ek Line Hotel in Baruari village of Gaighat and a hand was found outside. The body was taken out with the help of the villagers. The deceased was identified as Chandan Kumar Singh, resident of Navani village of Tamuria police station in Madhubani district. To unravel this scandal, a special team was formed under the leadership of ASP East. When the team formed in the preliminary investigation started interrogating the deceased’s wife, brother-in-law and mother-in-law, the whole matter came to light.
There used to be disputes between husband and wife during marriage.
The police investigated the case on the basis of scientific research. Only after this the murder incident was revealed. The wife, mother-in-law and brother-in-law of the deceased have confessed to the murder. It is said that they got married about seven years ago. After this, there used to be frequent fights between them. For this reason, the wife of the deceased along with her parents committed this murder. The police had taken them into custody after first suspecting them and interrogating them. After interrogation the whole matter became clear and the police has now arrested them. According to the information, a dispute had started between husband and wife after marriage. Fed up with this, the killers committed murder and buried the body in the field.
Police engaged in further action
After the murder, he had also filed a missing report. At the same time, the dog had taken out the dead body hidden in the field. After this, local people informed the police about the dead body. Only after this the dead body was identified as Chandan Kumar, resident of Jhanjharpur. After identifying the dead body, the police soon revealed the incident of murder and the accused has also been arrested. When the deceased had come to his in-laws’ house, he was murdered and the body was hidden inside the soil. After interrogation the incident came to light and then the police arrested the killers. Also, efforts are being made to search for an absconding accused. Police is taking further action in this entire matter.
