Bihar Weather: Weather worsened in Bihar due to storm, rain, lightning

Heat will increase from Monday

Earlier on Thursday night, the weather suddenly changed in many districts of Bihar. On Friday, due to a strong storm late night in the capital Patna, there was power failure in many areas. In some districts including Madhubani and Samastipur, there was drizzle along with hailstorm. Due to this, farmers have suffered huge losses in their mango, wheat and litchi crops. The Meteorological Department has issued a warning of bad weather in many districts of the state on Saturday. However, after 24 hours the weather
is likely to be normal. The period of strong winds will reduce in the state from Saturday. However, there may be light rain in some parts of Kosi and Seemanchal.

Chances of rain, followed by heat wave alert

People suffering from scorching heat in Muzaffarpur got relief after a long time on Friday. The mood of the weather changed from afternoon onwards. Due to dense clouds in the sky, the rays of the sun diminished. Light drizzle occurred at some places. Overall the weather became pleasant in the evening. Farmers can irrigate vegetable and maize crops as per requirement.
