A powerful western disturbance is likely to become active in Jammu and Kashmir and Himachal Pradesh between November 1 and 2. Due to its effect, there may be considerable snowfall in the mountains. In Bhagalpur, the highest temperature was recorded at 30.6 degrees Celsius, four degrees below normal and the minimum temperature was recorded at 18.5 degrees Celsius, four degrees below normal. The mercury remained below normal in Purnia. The lowest minimum temperature in the state was recorded at 15.5 degrees Celsius in Kishanganj. The highest temperature of 33.5 degrees Celsius has been recorded in Khagaria.
