According to the forecast issued by IMD, there is a forecast of very dense fog at one or two places in the north-east of the state, dense fog in the south-central and south-east parts and normal to moderate fog in the remaining parts of Bihar. According to IMD, there was heavy fog in Purnia on the morning of January 3. During this period the visibility was only 25 meters. At present, there is a possibility of light rain at some places in Patna, Gaya, Nalanda, Sheikhpura, Nawada, Begusarai, Rakhisarai, Jehanabad, Buxar, Bhojpur, Rohtas, Bhabua, Aurangabad and Arwal.

On Wednesday, the minimum temperature was 8.8 degrees and the maximum temperature was 23.8 degrees, whereas on Tuesday, the lowest minimum temperature of this winter season was 5.3 degrees and the maximum temperature was 23.2 degrees Celsius. On Tuesday, morning humidity was 84 percent and evening humidity was 72 percent. According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of rain in these two days. Sporadic clouds have also started appearing in the sky. The farmers along with the common people will face the most problems due to rain. Crops may be damaged. After the sun came up, there was some activity in the market but people returned home early in the evening. Bonfires were seen burning at many places in the evening.

The maximum temperature on Tuesday was 4.7 degrees Celsius below normal, while on Monday it was 9 degrees Celsius below normal. Today’s minimum temperature was 8 degrees Celsius, which was one degree Celsius less than normal.
