Bihar Weather News: The weather of Bihar has changed once again. The mood of the weather has changed due to drizzle. There are chances of rain at some places in East Bihar on Thursday. According to the official forecast of IMD, cyclonic circulation is behind this change in weather. From 17th February, Western Disturbance is once again becoming active in the Western Himalayan region. If this Western Disturbance becomes stronger then once again there may be a possibility of rain and thundershowers in the state. At present, Purvaiya will suddenly start moving in the state on 17th February. Due to this, the amount of moisture in the atmosphere is likely to increase.

Weather changed due to rain in Bihar

Here on Wednesday, there was considerable rain in most areas of the state. A total of eight mm rainfall has been recorded in the state. 58.6 mm in Rafiganj of Aurangabad district, 21.4 mm in Madanpur, 21.5 in Nawada, 19.8 in Mohania of Bhabhua district and 18.6 in Bhabhua, 19.8 in Jehanabad, 18.6 in Koko of Jehanabad district, 19.8 in Tarari of Bhojpur and 19.4 in Charpokhari, Arwal. 18.8 mm rainfall has been recorded in Kaler and 18.6 mm rainfall has been recorded in Chenari of Rohtas. Whereas 10 mm rain has been recorded in Patna and 18.8 mm rain has been recorded in Bihta of Patna.

Temperature drops due to rain

Due to rain on Wednesday, a significant drop in the maximum temperature has been recorded, while the minimum temperature remained elevated in the state. For example, the maximum temperature in Patna was four degrees above normal and the minimum temperature was five degrees above normal. Similarly, the day temperature in Gaya was six degrees below normal and the night temperature was four degrees above normal. In Bhagalpur and Purnia, the highest temperature was three degrees below normal and the minimum temperature was one and four degrees above normal respectively.

There will be no rain but there will be fog today

Due to western disturbance leaving the central and western parts of Bihar, there will be no rain in Patna and its surrounding areas on Thursday but there will be dense fog. Due to cloudy sky, the temperature will not drop and like Wednesday, the maximum temperature is expected to be around 21.4 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature will be around 17.3 degrees Celsius. After that, due to clearing of clouds from Friday, the minimum temperature is likely to drop by two to four degrees.

Bhagalpur weather

Rain activities continued in Bhagalpur district on Wednesday also. It rained intermittently from morning till afternoon. There was light drizzle in the evening also. Overall there was 3.7 mm rainfall. The sky remained cloudy throughout the day. The amount of humidity in the air reached 97 percent. The westerly wind continued to blow slowly throughout the day. The sky will remain cloudy on Thursday also. However, most of the time the weather will remain clear. Now after February 20, due to the effect of western disturbance, there is a possibility of rain in Kosi area including the northern part of the district. On Wednesday, the maximum temperature of the day reached 24 degrees and the minimum temperature increased by three points to 16.3 degrees. Due to rain, the pollution level reduced due to reduction in the amount of dust particles in the air.
