Patna / Darbhanga. The weather is about to reverse in Bihar. The Meteorological Department has given a serious warning regarding the temperature. In the coming two to three days, the temperature is going to increase significantly in many districts of Bihar. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Thursday issued a heatwave warning for Bihar in the next three to four days. According to the weather agency, there is a possibility of heat wave in Bihar from 15 to 17 April. If the maximum temperature reaches at least 40 °C in plains, at least 37 °C in coastal areas and at least 30 °C in hilly areas, a heat wave is issued.

Heat wave warning after two days

Regarding the sudden increase in temperature, IMD scientist Naresh Kumar said that the temperature is near normal now, but since dry conditions are expected to continue, the heat will increase further and after a week different parts of North-West and East India I might get heat stroke. Here, an alert has also been issued by the Center for Advanced Studies on Climate Change, Dr. Rajendra Prasad Central Agricultural University, Pusa, Samastipur. In this, there is a warning of rising temperature.

Mercury will go near 40 in next two days

After the rains a few days ago in many states of the country, now the outbreak of severe heat is being seen. The Meteorological Department says that from April to June there will be a heat wave in northwestern India. Due to this, the heat has been estimated to increase in Bihar. Rural Agricultural Meteorological Service and Agricultural Meteorological Department, Center for Advanced Studies on Climate Change, Dr. Rajendra Prasad Central Agricultural University Pusa, Samastipur has issued weather forecast from 15 to 17 April 2023. Under which, during this period, a warning of strong sunlight has been issued in the districts of North Bihar. On April 15-16, the maximum temperature will reach 38 degree Celsius and after April 17 it will reach 40 degree. However, the weather is expected to remain dry.

Monsoon will be normal this year

According to IMD, El Nino conditions are prevailing in the country, yet there are chances of rains during monsoon. This is news of relief for the farmers, because the crop yield depends on the monsoon rains. Actually, due to El Nino, the surface temperature of the Pacific Ocean near South America becomes more than normal. This is considered to be the reason for the weakening of monsoon winds and less rain in India.
