Bihar Weather: The westerly wind has become stronger in Bihar. Therefore, there is a possibility of severe heat in Bihar for the next five days. There is a possibility of further expansion of heat wave in the state due to the effect of westerly wind. IMD has issued a forecast that the maximum temperature will increase by three to five degrees Celsius in Bihar in the coming five days. There is absolutely no possibility of rain during this time.

Highest temperature of Sheikhpura

According to the official information released by IMD, there was a lot of heat wave in Bihar on Tuesday in Banka, Sheikhpura, Khagaria and Purnia. Purnia and Khagaria recorded maximum temperatures of 40.8 and 42.2 degrees Celsius, respectively, 5.7 degrees Celsius above normal. On the other hand, in Banka, four and a half degrees above normal, 41.5 degrees Celsius and in Sheikhpura, 5.2 degrees Celsius above normal, the highest temperature has been recorded in Sheikhpura. The highest temperature of Sheikhpura was the highest in the entire state.

Mercury remained above 40 in 17 districts

Apart from this, the mercury remained between 40 and 43 degree Celsius in Nawada, Aurangabad, Gaya, Bhagalpur, Jiradei, Jamui, Patna, Valmiki Nagar, Sabour, Dehri, Vaishali and Nalanda. The highest temperature at all these places has been recorded three to four degrees less than normal. The mercury remained above 40 in a total of 17 districts. Due to increase in maximum temperature in the next few days, heat wave can affect many places.

Mocha has no direct effect on Bihar

As far as the cyclone ‘Mocha’ forming in the Bay of Bengal is concerned, it has no direct effect on Bihar yet. IMD Patna’s senior meteorologist Ashish Kumar told that on the fifth day only the nominal effect of this storm can be seen. That too only in the form of Thunder Storm. However, the condition of heat wave will definitely remain.
