Bihar Weather: Rain in Hathiya Nakshatra is nectar for paddy, Meteorological Department warns of heavy rain in these districts

Farmers have heaved a sigh of relief due to the activeness of monsoon in Bihar. The rain occurring in Hathiya Nakshatra is called nectar for the paddy crop. Here, in Hathiya Nakshatra, there has been good rain in most parts of the state in the last 24 hours. There has been heavy rain at some places. According to the Meteorological Department, the highest rainfall of 101.2 mm was recorded in Hisua of Nawada. While there was 84.4 mm rainfall in Rajauli, 71.4 mm rainfall in Nauhta of Rohtas and 70 mm rainfall in Fatehpur of Gaya.

Possibility of heavy rain in 16 districts of the state

Expressing the possibility of heavy rain in 16 districts of the state in the next 24 hours, the Meteorological Department has also issued a yellow alert for many districts. 16 including Bhojpur, Kaimur, Nawada, East Champaran, West Champaran, Gopalganj, Supaul and Purnia. There may be heavy rain in the districts. Similarly, an alert has been issued regarding rain in all other districts also. On October 4 also, a warning of heavy rain has been issued in 9 districts of Bihar. This includes Siwan, Saran, Buxar, Bhojpur, Kaimur, West Champaran, East Champaran, Gopalganj, Rohtas and Aurangabad districts. An alert has been issued for heavy rain in East Champaran and West Champaran on October 5. There is a possibility of heavy rain in most of the districts of the state on October 6 also.

This rain is nectar for paddy

Even if late in Bihar, the rains in Hathiya Nakshatra have given life to the paddy crop. Due to the rain since last three days, happiness has returned on the faces of the farmers. The paddy crop which was dying due to lack of rain has once again become green due to the rain.
