Since last one week, AQI of Patna city has been continuously registering above 300. The air quality at the AQI monitoring stations installed at Gandhi Maidan and Samanpura was recorded above 400. Apart from this, AQI was recorded near 300 in Danapur, Rajbanshinagar. Experts say that there is no possibility of any significant improvement in the amount of pollution in the winter months. However, apart from Patna, the AQI of ten cities of Bihar is worse. The air of Begusarai, Araria, Arrah, Bhagalpur, Chhapra, Katihar, Purnia, Rajgir, Saharsa is also poisonous.
