According to the official bulletin of IMD, a new phase of rain will start from 21st. There are chances of widespread rain in the entire state on 22nd, which is likely to continue till 24th September. Actually, monsoon is going to become active again. The reason for the activation of monsoon is the cyclonic circulation in the Bay of Bengal and the formation of a low pressure center in the adjacent area of Bihar.
Besides, the trough line is also passing through Jharkhand. Due to the combined effect of all these, monsoon will become active. Due to this, there will be good rain in North-West, North-Central, North-East, South-Central, South-East and other areas. According to the information, till now only 640 mm of rain has fallen in Bihar. This is 30% less than normal.
