Bihar Weather Report: The effect of Sun’s Uttarayan is not visible in Bihar. The fog has stopped the sunlight from reaching the earth. There are chances of severe cold in Bihar till 26th January. There will be fog along with cold wave. However, there is a possibility that sunshine may be seen during the day. According to the official information of IMD, it was a cold day in South-West, South-Central and more than half of North Bihar of the state including Patna. The minimum temperature in all the districts of the state was less than 10 degrees Celsius. In six districts the temperature remained less than five degrees Celsius.
There will be a change in the weather after three days
The biggest change in these weather conditions occurring in the sky can be seen from 26-27 January. Because of this, there is a possibility of heavy snowfall in the mountainous areas. According to IMD’s forecast, there will be some decline in the average temperature due to the activity of Western Disturbance which is active with full force. However, the cold period may continue more or less. The average minimum temperature of the state remained between 6-7 degrees Celsius. After Makar Sankranti, it is being estimated to be the lowest in the last decade in January.

According to the official information of IMD, cold day conditions occurred in south-west, south-central and more than half of northern Bihar of the state. The worst cold day among these districts was recorded in Patna. The maximum temperature here was recorded at 13.3 degrees Celsius, 10 degrees below normal. The highest temperature in Bhagalpur was recorded at 16.4 degrees, seven degrees below normal. Similarly, severe cold day has been recorded in Muzaffarpur, Vaishali, Jiradei, Pusa, Buxar, Jamui, Sheikhpura, etc.
Problems of train passengers increased..
Fog has once again increased the problems of passengers. Scheduled premier trains are running late by two to 15 hours. The railway administration canceled the late running Malda Town Farakka Express and Mahananda Express. On Tuesday, trains reached their destinations slowly due to fog. Tejas Rajdhani Express 13 hours, Sampoornakranti Express 11 hours, Vikramshila Express 15 hours, Magadh Express 10 hours, Islampur-Hatia Express 2 hours 36 minutes, Brahmaputra Mail 7 hours 34 minutes, Garib Rath and North-East Express 4 hours 10 minutes, Howrah -Patna Janshatabdi reached Patna Junction late by two hours, Shramjeevi Express by three hours. Due to this, railway passengers remained sitting waiting for trains throughout the night. Railway officials say that rail traffic is being disrupted due to fog.
