Bihar Weather Report: The cold has now increased in Bihar. Due to cold wave, mercury alert has been issued in many districts. The mercury in Sabour of Bhagalpur fell to 5 degrees, while the minimum temperature in more than 17 districts of Bihar fell below ten degrees Celsius. There has been no sunshine in most of the districts for three days. The Meteorological Department has issued an alert of cold day in eight-nine districts and cold wave in other districts. At the same time, information has also come to light as to when there will be relief from cold in Bihar.

Dense fog has started appearing in many districts of Bihar. People are feeling the melting cold in the surrounding districts including Bhagalpur and Banka. The temperature of the capital Patna is also below 10 degrees these days. Cold wave conditions are also prevailing in the south-western part of the state adjoining Uttar Pradesh.

Cold hit in North Bihar too

As the evening approached the chanting started increasing. Today a slight increase was recorded in the maximum and minimum temperatures. For the last three days, the maximum temperature was below 16 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature remained around 8 degrees Celsius. However, today the maximum temperature slipped slightly to 18 degrees Celsius, which is 4.1 degrees Celsius less than normal. The minimum temperature was 9 degrees Celsius, which was 1.5 degrees Celsius more than normal.
When will we get relief from cold?
At the same time, information has been given by the Meteorological Department of Bhagalpur Agricultural University that the decrease in temperature is predicted to continue till January 16. There are chances of getting relief from this harsh cold from January 17.
