Bihar Weather Forecast: Monsoon will be active again in Bihar, know for how long will there be heavy rain in which districts

Monsoon activity has slowed down in most parts of Bihar. Due to which the weather remains dry. At the same time, light to moderate rainfall has been recorded at some places in the south-west, north-central and south-central parts of the state. Weather forecast has been issued for 20-24 September 2023 with the help of Rural Agriculture Meteorological Service Center of Dr. Rajendra Prasad Central Agricultural University, Pusa and India Meteorological Department. Light to moderate clouds can be seen in the sky of the districts of North Bihar for the next 2-3 days. After that, there may be moderate to dense clouds till 24-25 September. Monsoon is likely to be active. Due to this, there is a possibility of good rainfall between 22–24 September.

Moderate to heavy rainfall may occur at many places in Terai districts. Whereas the districts in the plains may receive light to moderate rainfall. During this period, the maximum temperature is expected to be between 32 to 34 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature is expected to be between 22–24 degrees Celsius. Relative humidity is likely to be 80 to 90 percent in the morning and 50 to 60 percent in the afternoon. There is a possibility of mainly easterly wind at an average speed of 15-20 km per hour. Today’s maximum temperature was 35.5 degrees Celsius, which was 3.0 degrees Celsius more than normal. The minimum temperature was 22.5 degrees Celsius, which was 3.2 degrees Celsius less than normal.

Here, there is a possibility of rain in West Champaran, East Champaran, Sitamarhi, Gopalganj, Saran, Siwan, Vaishali, Samastipur, Darbhanga and Madhubani. On September 20, yellow alert has been issued regarding rain in Sitamarhi, Muzaffarpur, Vaishali, Darbhanga, Supaul, Saharsa, Araria, Kishanganj, Purnia and Katihar districts. There is a possibility of rain at almost all places in the state from 21st to 23rd September. Similarly, there is a possibility of heavy rain in Araria, Kishanganj, Purnia, Katihar and Bhagalpur from 21 to 23 September.
