Bihar Weather: Effect of Hathiya Nakshatra started visible, rain started in these cities, Meteorological Department issued alert

It has been raining heavily in Bhagalpur and Muzaffarpur since Saturday morning. However, IMD has expressed the possibility of special impact of Hathiya Nakshatra from October 1 to 4. But, the weather has been active in many parts of Bihar since Saturday morning. There is a possibility of heavy to very heavy rain at most places in South Bihar also. This rain will bring smiles on the faces of farmers. But excess rain and strong wind can increase their worries.

According to IMD alert, there may be heavy rain in Hathiya Nakshatra from October 1 to 4. There may be an increase in the water level of rivers. There can be loss to life, property and animals due to storm and thunder. According to the IMD report, a low pressure area with circulation is present in the northeast and east central Bay of Bengal. Due to this effect, there is a possibility of rain in Bihar. It is noteworthy that till now Bihar has received 755 mm of rain in the monsoon season. This is 24 percent less than normal.

Yellow alert issued

The Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert regarding rain from September 30 to October 4. On September 30, there is a possibility of rain in other districts including Patna, Jehanabad, Gaya, Arrah, Buxar, Kaimur, Rohtas, Gaya, Nalanda, Bhagalpur, Banka and Jamui. Whereas on October 1, yellow alert has been issued for all the districts of the state. The weather department says that there will be heavy rain in the entire state on October 1. But warning of heavy rain has been issued in four districts of Bihar, Nalanda, Jamui, Banka and Bhagalpur. On October 2 and 3, a warning of heavy to very heavy rain has been issued in 12 districts of the state. The districts where there is a possibility of heavy rains include Supaul, Araria, Khagaria, Kishanganj, Purnia, Katihar, Bhagalpur, Banka, Jamui, Nalanda, Gaya, Aurangabad, Rohtas and Kaimur districts. There is a possibility of heavy rain in 13 districts on October 4. These include Supaul, Araria, Bhagalpur, Banka, Munger, Jamui, Nalanda, Patna, Jehanabad, Gaya, Aurangabad, Rohtas and Kaimur.

755.3 mm rain so far in Bihar

From June 1 to September 29, Bihar has received 755.3 mm rainfall. Which is 24 percent less than normal. In the last 24 hours, the maximum rainfall has been 27.4 mm in Sandesh of Bhojpur. Whereas 16.8 mm rainfall was received in Kako of Jehanabad, 11.2 in Nalanda, 10.2 in Jehanabad, 9.5 in Jamui, 6.4 in Dumariya of Gaya, 6.2 in Kinjhar of Arwal, 4.2 mm of rain in Madanpur in Aurangabad and 3.6 mm in Ghosi of Jehanabad.
