The effect of cold will be more for the next two days. According to the report received from the Meteorological Center on Monday, the maximum temperature of Patna was 13.5 and minimum 5.5 degrees. Whereas, Gaya 16.8 and 4.1 degrees, Bhagalpur 16.7 and 9.7 degrees, Purnia 14 and 10.7 degrees, West Champaran 11.5 and 9.4 degrees, Muzaffarpur 13.2 and 11.1 degrees, Saran 16 and 8.8 degrees, Darbhanga 13.2 and 9.4 degrees, Supaul 13.1 and 10.3 degrees. The temperature of East Champaran was 12.8 and 8 degrees, Sheikhpura was 15.4 and 6.2 degrees, Gopalganj was 13.4 degrees.

The wrath of winter continues in the capital. The minimum temperature in the city was recorded at 5.5 degrees Celsius on the intervening night of Sunday and Monday, which was the lowest temperature of the season so far. On Monday, people heaved a sigh of relief as the sun shone during the day and the maximum temperature was 18.0 degrees Celsius.

Cold day will continue in Patna

According to the forecast issued by the Meteorological Center, there is no possibility of any change in the weather for the next three days. Cold days will continue in Patna. At the same time, dense fog is forecast at some places. At present westerly and north westerly winds are blowing in the state. Due to this, the chill has increased and there is no possibility of any change in this. Here, due to severe cold, the number of patients, especially heart and neuro patients, has increased in hospitals.

Two pairs of flights were cancelled, 20 arrived and departed late

The first flight at Patna airport started at 11:22 am on Monday. The first landing started at 10:53 am. Out of total 52 planes, 20 arrived and departed late. Also, a total of 4 flights remained cancelled. Indigo flight arrived from Mumbai with maximum delay of four hours. IndiGo’s flight coming from Kolkata was delayed by three and a half hours, the flight coming from Hyderabad by 46 minutes and the flight coming from Mumbai by one and a half hour. 11 flights from here took off late. The SpiceJet flight to Hyderabad took off late by three and a half hours. Three more planes from Delhi, Mumbai and Kolkata took off with a delay of more than an hour.

Rajdhani arrived late by 10 hours

The speed of Delhi trains has slowed down due to fog. Some trains are running late by five to 10 hours. More than a dozen trains were delayed on Monday. These also include important trains like Rajdhani, Sampoornakranti. Tejas Rajdhani coming from Delhi to Patna reached Patna Junction late by 10 hours, Islampur Magadh Express by six hours, Delhi Kamakhya Brahmaputra Mail by one hour 34, Sampoorna Kranti by seven hours 6 minutes, Purva by five hours 34 minutes, Vikramsheela by eight hours 47 minutes. Due to train delay, passengers are facing a lot of problems. Due to excessive delay, some passengers were seen getting their tickets cancelled.
