Bihar Weather Report: Now the cold has started increasing in Bihar. According to the Meteorological Department, now the temperature of the state may fall further within one to two days. There are chances of increasing cold. The snowfall in the mountains has gradually started affecting Bihar also. The minimum temperature is now decreasing. The temperature in many districts has fallen below 10 degrees. Meteorologists say that a western disturbance may affect the western Himalayan region from December 22. There is every possibility that its effect will be visible on the weather of Bihar also.
How will be the weather of Bhagalpur?
Light fog and cold was felt in Bhagalpur district on Tuesday evening and morning. There is relief from cold till 10 o’clock due to sunshine. According to the Rural Agricultural Weather Service of BAU Sabour, it will remain sunny till Christmas. After this the cold will increase further. On Tuesday, the maximum temperature of the day was 23.2 degrees and the minimum temperature was 6.4 degrees. The westerly wind continued to blow. There will be a further decrease in the maximum and minimum temperatures in Bhagalpur from December 20. There will be sunshine during the day between 20th and 24th December. There may be light fog in the morning, the sky will be clear. There is a possibility of western wind blowing during this period. The Meteorological Department has advised farmers to irrigate wheat and maize as per requirement. Finish wheat sowing soon. If the temperature drops, there may be a problem in seed germination. Irrigate vegetables also. Here, the situation of air pollution in the district was very bad. Due to increase in the amount of fine particles in the air, the maximum air quality index of the city was recorded at 410.
Mercury reached 10 degrees Celsius in Purnia
Cold is showing its effect in Seemanchal region also. The snowfall on the mountains has gradually started having an impact. Due to this, the minimum temperature of Purnia has reached 10 degrees Celsius. However, there has been no reduction in the maximum temperature. The maximum temperature is between 27 and 23 degrees. On Tuesday, the minimum temperature was recorded at 10 degrees Celsius and the maximum temperature was 24.2 degrees Celsius. Whereas the minimum temperature on Monday was 10.7 degrees Celsius. The cold has increased with the minimum mercury falling. There is fog in the morning. Rakesh Kumar, assistant scientist of the Meteorological Department, said that the minimum temperature is likely to be between 10 to 7 degrees in the next two-three days. Due to falling minimum temperature the cold will increase at night. The chill increased on Tuesday due to the westerly wind. After the fog cleared in the morning, the sun came out, but the darkness increased due to the westerly wind blowing at a speed of about 7 to 10 kilometers per hour. Here, as the month of December is passing, winter is also showing its severe form. If the situation continues like this then we will be hit by cold wave in the next two days.
