There is a possibility of westerly winds at the speed of 20-30 kilometers per hour in Bihar in the next 48 hours. During this time, the wind speed can reach up to 40 kilometers per hour with gusts. In such a situation, there is a possibility of a drop of two to four degrees Celsius in the minimum and maximum temperatures in the state for the next three days. Therefore, the cold may be felt comparatively more during the day and night. This change in the weather of Bihar has come due to cyclonic circulation and active western disturbance in Jammu and Punjab. IMD has forecast that there is a possibility of light rain in south-west and south-central Bihar on February 11 and 12. According to IMD, on Tuesday, the highest temperature in the state was recorded below normal and the minimum temperature was above normal.
Maximum temperature three degrees below normal
In Patna and Gaya, the highest temperature was four degrees Celsius above normal and the minimum temperature was four degrees Celsius below normal. The maximum temperature in Purnia and Bhagalpur was three degrees below normal. However, the minimum temperature in Purnia was six degrees Celsius above normal. In this way, the day temperature in South and North Bihar remained slightly lower than normal. Compared to the previous day on Monday, a drop of two to three degrees was recorded in the highest temperature on Tuesday. At the same time, the minimum temperature has increased. According to IMD, on Tuesday, the maximum temperature in the state was recorded at 25.7 degrees Celsius in Madhubani and the minimum temperature was recorded at 11 degrees Celsius in Kishanganj.
