Meteorologist Sanjay Kumar told that during the pre-monsoon, the activities of rain and heat will continue at some places. According to him, a trough line is extending from North Bihar to Central Chhattisgarh. Due to its effect, during the next 24 hours in Bihar’s East and West Champaran, Shivhar, Sitamarhi, Madhubani, Supaul, Araria, Kishanganj, Madhepura, Saharsa, Purnia, Katihar, Bhagalpur, Banka, Jamui, Munger and Khagaria, there will be thunder and lightning. Light rain is forecast with. At the same time, there may be light rain at some places with partly cloudy sky in Patna and its surrounding areas.

Two degree drop in temperature

The Meteorological Department claims that due to the rains in North Bihar, there has been a partial fall in the maximum temperature of Patna during the last 24 hours, but this division is not visible in South Bihar. Heat wave is going on in Bhabua, Gaya and Aurangabad. There is a possibility of light clouds in Bhagalpur from 18 to 21 May. During this, there is a possibility of light rain or drizzle between 19 and 21 May. The maximum temperature in Patna recorded a drop of 2.2 degrees, Gaya 0.6 degrees, Bhagalpur 2.8 degrees, Chhapra 0.5 degrees, Darbhanga two degrees and Purnia 3.3 degrees Celsius.
