Similarly, there is a possibility of rain at some places in Gaya and Nawada of south-central Bihar and Jamui and Banka districts of south-east Bihar.

According to IMD, there are chances of very light rain in Sitamarhi and Shivhar. The special thing is that IMD has not issued any kind of alert on this change in weather. Here, on Wednesday the highest temperature was recorded at 40.4 degrees Celsius in Sheikhpura and Siwan and 40 degrees Celsius in Aurangabad district. At the remaining places the mercury remained below 40 degrees Celsius.

Chance of rain in many districts

According to the forecast issued by the Meteorological Department on Thursday, Patna, Bhojpur, Buxar, Kaimur, Rohtas, Aurangabad, Gaya, Arwal, Jehanabad, Nawada, Nalanda, Sheikhpura, Lakhisarai, Begusarai, Supaul, Saharsa, Madhepura, Purnia, Katihar, Kishanganj and Araria. There is a possibility of strong winds blowing at a speed of 30 to 40 kilometers per hour in the district. During this period, there is a danger of landslides at one or two places in these districts. Meteorological Centre, Patna also issued an immediate alert on Wednesday morning. In this, there is a possibility of light to moderate thunderstorms along with thunderstorms and rain in Jamui, Banka, Bhagalpur, Purnia and Katihar districts.
