Patna and surrounding areas will remain partly cloudy in the afternoon. At the same time, people have got relief from the heat due to the decline in the maximum temperature of 22 cities including Patna. According to the Meteorological Center, the wind is expected to blow at a speed of 30-40 km per hour with gusts.

At the same time, a warning has been issued regarding light rain, thunder and lightning at one or two places in the south-west and south-central parts. There is no possibility of any significant change in temperature for the next two days. In such a situation, people are likely to get relief from the heat for two days. On Monday, the maximum temperature of Patna was recorded at 37.2 degree Celsius with a drop of 1.1 degree, whereas, Buxar was the hottest place in the state with 40.1 degree Celsius.
Chances of rain in Muzaffarpur today and tomorrow
According to the forecast of the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of light rain in many districts of North Bihar including Muzaffarpur on Tuesday and Wednesday. People are restless due to the continuous increase in temperature. Meanwhile, there will be some relief from the heat if there is light rain. According to the records of the Meteorological Department, the maximum temperature was recorded at 36.5 degrees Celsius on Sunday. The minimum temperature was 20.5 degrees Celsius. However, the possibility of further increase in temperature has been expressed.

Drop in temperature in major cities
Maximum temperature dropped by 3.8 degrees Celsius in Gaya, three degrees in Nawada, 0.4 degrees in Dehri, three degrees in Jamui, 2.3 degrees in Banka, 2.1 degrees in Katihar, 0.8 degrees in Vaishali, 2.9 degrees in Bhagalpur, 0.5 degrees in Gopalganj. A drop of 1.2 degree Celsius was recorded in Motihari, 2.0 degree Celsius in Sheikhpura. Whereas a partial increase in the temperature was recorded in the remaining districts.
