Bihar Weather: Alert regarding heat wave in 24 districts of Bihar

Bihar Weather: These days, people in Bihar are troubled by the increasing heat and strong sunlight. The temperature starts getting hot after ten in the morning. Whereas, by afternoon, heat wave also starts. At the same time, people are not likely to get respite from the scorching heat for the next few days. The Meteorological Department has issued a heat wave alert in 24 districts of the state on Saturday (6 March) and Sunday (7 March). The maximum temperature in these districts is likely to be more than 40 degrees Celsius. However, there is a possibility of some relief due to light rain on March 8.

Heat wave alert in these districts

The Meteorological Department has issued a warning in West Champaran, East Champaran, Gopalganj, Siwan, Saran, Patna, Bhojpur, Buxar, Bhabhua, Rohtas, Aurangabad, Gaya, Nawada, Nalanda, Sheikhpura, Jehanabad, Arwal, Jamui, Banka, Bhagalpur, Khagaria, Munger, Lakhisarai. Yellow alert has been issued for And Begusarai districts. There is a possibility of extreme heat and heat wave in some areas of these districts.

Patna’s temperature will be around 40 degrees

There is a possibility of heat wave in Patna and surrounding areas for the next two days. During this period, the maximum temperature of the city will be around 40 degrees Celsius. After two days, there is a possibility of some change in the weather for the next three days. During this period, there may be light drizzle in some parts of the district. This will reduce the maximum temperature and people will get relief from the heat.

Weather is dry due to westerly wind

According to the report of the Meteorological Center, north-west and westerly winds are blowing in the entire state including Patna. Due to this the weather remains dry. More than 40 degrees Celsius were recorded in 10 districts of the state. The maximum temperature of Patna was recorded at 39.1 degrees Celsius, three degrees above normal and the minimum temperature also increased by 5.7 degrees at 25.6 degrees Celsius.
