Two people injured in road accidents in two different areas of Bhagalpur range died during treatment on Monday at JLNMC Hospital in Mayaganj. The paperwork process was started after the hospital management handed over the PI to Burari police. After preparing the Panchnama and taking full statements of the family members, the bodies of both the deceased were sent to Naulakha Kothi for post-mortem. After post-mortem the body was handed over to the relatives.
Pickup crushes mother and daughter while going for morning puja, student dies
A mother and daughter who were going to worship at Bihpur Mahant place in Navgachia in Bhagalpur district were crushed by a pickup truck at quarter to six on Monday morning. After an hour, injured Anjani Devi and her 23-year-old daughter Annu were taken to Bihpur PHC for first aid. From where both were referred to Mayaganj Hospital. Annu died after a few hours during treatment in Mayaganj hospital.
Many people were hit by a pickup while trying to escape.
The father of the deceased told that the police has confiscated the pickup that was pushed. However, the driver managed to escape from the spot. He told that while running away, the pickup driver had also hit some other people. After which people caught hold of the pickup. The student had completed her graduation this year, while the condition of the injured mother remains critical.
A laborer riding a bicycle was crushed by an unknown vehicle in Banka.
Another road accident took place late Sunday evening on Rajoun main road in Dhauraiya police station area of Banka district. Where an unknown vehicle had crushed the cyclist. Dial 112 team reached the spot after the incident and first admitted the injured to the local PHC. Seeing his serious condition, the injured was referred to JLNMC Hospital in Mayaganj, Bhagalpur late in the night. The injured was identified as 57-year-old laborer Vishundev Yadav, resident of Tulsipur village of Kharik police station area of Navgachia. The team of Dial 112 also informed the family members about this. The family members reached Mayaganj hospital and started treating the injured. Where Vishudev Yadav died during treatment on Monday.

Family members told that Vishundev Yadav used to work as a laborer and sell chaff on bicycle in Bhagalpur and surrounding districts. On Sunday, he had gone to his relative in Maldhara, Banka district. Where after meeting him, he left for Banka on bicycle.
