The thugs asked the woman to wrap the gold chain in a 100 rupee note and give it to her. The woman also fell into his trap and did as he asked. The woman wrapped the gold chain in a note and gave it to him.

The miscreants ran away from the spot after cheating the chain

After cheating the woman of the gold chain, both the miscreants fled from there. After this, when the Hub woman realized that she was cheated, she started making noise. On getting information about this, Raghuveer Sinha, who was present in the house at that time, chased both the thugs. With the help of local people, they caught both the thugs and informed the police of Nagar police station. People handed over both the thugs to the police.

Police recovered many items in the search

When the police searched the thugs before arresting them, they recovered from the two thugs a gold chain, an amulet, five rings and a brass idol each of Hanuman ji, Ganesh ji and Durga ji and three Rudraksh recovered. Police is also investigating the criminal records of both. City police station incharge Asmit Kumar said that after interrogation, both have been sent to jail.
