Cases of cheating in unique ways are coming to light every day from different cities of Bihar. The latest case is of Narayani Nagar Road number three of Hajipur Nagar police station area of Vaishali district. Where two miscreants cheated the woman by promising to increase the jewelery five times. However, both the thugs who committed the fraud were caught by the villagers and handed over to the police. The arrested criminals have been identified as Banda Nat, son of Gulzar Nat, resident of Chappak Musahari of Masaurhi police station, Patna and Shravan Kumar, son of Banda Nat. Both have been described as father and son. The police is investigating the criminal history of the arrested criminals.
Two thugs arrived in the guise of a monk
According to the information received, two thugs disguised as sadhus reached the house of Raghuveer Sinha, resident of Narayani Nagar Road of Nagar Police Station. Both of them first deceived his wife with their words. Seeing Raghuveer Sinha’s wife believing their words, both of them tricked her into increasing her jewelery five times.
Cheated to convert a gold chain into five
Both the thugs asked the woman to bring a note of 100 rupees. When the woman arrived with a 100 rupee note, both of them tricked the woman into exchanging one gold chain for five gold chains. The thugs asked the woman to wrap the gold chain in a 100 rupee note and give it to her. The woman also fell into his trap and did as he asked. The woman wrapped the gold chain in a note and gave it to him.
The miscreants ran away from the spot after cheating the chain
After cheating the woman of the gold chain, both the miscreants fled from there. After this, when the Hub woman realized that she was cheated, she started making noise. On getting information about this, Raghuveer Sinha, who was present in the house at that time, chased both the thugs. With the help of local people, they caught both the thugs and informed the police of Nagar police station. People handed over both the thugs to the police.
Police recovered many items in the search
When the police searched the thugs before arresting them, they recovered from the two thugs a gold chain, an amulet, five rings and a brass idol each of Hanuman ji, Ganesh ji and Durga ji and three Rudraksh recovered. Police is also investigating the criminal records of both. City police station incharge Asmit Kumar said that after interrogation, both have been sent to jail.
