Indian Railways: Railways has now started the effort to connect one part of Seemanchal to other parts in Bihar. Till now, connectivity with Jogbani and areas like Thakurganj and Siliguri situated on the Nepal border was only by road. But now Railways has started preparations to run trains to connect these two cities. The time table of Jogbani – Siliguri Express train has also been released. A possible date regarding when this train will be run has also been revealed.
Schedule of Jogbani-Siliguri Express train released..
The time table of Jogbani-Siliguri Express train has also been released by the Railways. This letter has been issued by Rajesh Kumar, Deputy Director (Coaching). Experts believe that the program can be decided any day between 10th to 15th February and this train can be flagged off by the Prime Minister. Let us tell you that PM Narendra Modi’s visit to Champaran is possible. In the same sequence, PM can flag off this train through video conferencing from Champaran itself.
Traveling to two ends of Seemanchal will be easy
Let us tell you that the running of this train will bring a lot of convenience to the people of Seemanchal. Till now many areas of Seemanchal were directly connected through railways only till Katihar. But now the areas of Siliguri, Thakurganj and Kishanganj will be directly connected to Purnia, Araria, Forbesganj and Jogbani through railways.
This train will run for five days
As per the announcement so far, Jogbani Siliguri Express will run five days a week. Whose stops will be in Forbesganj, Araria, Purnia, Katihar, Salmari, Barsoi, Dalkhola, Kishanganj, Aluwari Road, Thakurganj and Bagdogra.
This train will leave from Jogbani in the morning
According to the released time table, Jogbani Siliguri Express will leave from Jogbani at 05:15 am and will reach Katihar at 07:40 am. After leaving Katihar at 07:50, it will reach Siliguri Town at 01:35 in the afternoon. In return, Siliguri Jogbani Express will leave from Siliguri at 04:55 pm and will reach Katihar at 09:25. After leaving Katihar at 09:35, it will reach Jogbani at 12:05 at its scheduled stops.
