Bihar: Train derails again in Buxar, goods train derails in Dumraon, train operations disrupted

Bihar Train News: Once again a train has derailed in Bihar. This accident happened on Monday night at Dumraon station on Danapur-DDU railway section when a parcel van derailed on the loop line. Due to arrival of some engine coaches on the main line, the operation of trains on the downline of Dumraon station has stopped. Let us tell you that on October 11, several coaches of North East Express derailed at Raghunathpur station in Buxar district. Many bogies had overturned and so far 5 people have died in this train accident while many are injured. After the Buxar train accident, the engine of the train carrying the damaged bogies on the loop line had derailed on Friday and now the parcel van has derailed at Dumraon station in Buxar itself due to which the operation of trains has been disrupted.

Parcel van derailment in Dumraon

A parcel van derailed on the Down loop line at Dumraon station on Danapur-DDU railway section at 9:40 pm on Monday night. As soon as the parcel van reached platform number two, four wheels of the rear compartment of the engine derailed. Some of its coaches are also standing on the main down line. Due to which the operation of trains on the downline stopped. Traffic on Dumraon-Bikramganj NH also stopped due to presence of coaches near the railway crossing. Seemanchal Express, Pune Danapur, and North East were affected due to disruption in the railway line.

Train operations disrupted on down line

Let us tell you that after the accident on the down line near Raghunathpur station on Wednesday night, the operation of North East Express started only on Monday. After this, the operation of trains on the down line was once again disrupted due to derailment of the parcel van. After the incident, railway officials and personnel reached the spot and took stock of the situation. Earlier, apart from passenger trains, about a dozen superfast trains passed on the down line. Movement of trains on the up line had already become regular. As information about regular operation of trains became available, the crowd of passengers increased. Due to this the ticket counters have also become buzzing. According to railway sources, a seven-hour mega block was announced near Raghunathpur station on Sunday.
