Bihar: Thursday was a day of road accidents, somewhere the bus overturned, somewhere it collided with a truck, people died due to being crushed.

Several horrific road accidents took place at different places in Bihar on Thursday. Many people died in these accidents and many were also injured. Gaya, Bhagalpur, Begusarai saw particularly serious road accidents. In Gaya, a bus full of laborers overturned, while in another incident a bus and a truck collided head-on. Two people died after coming under the grip of a container in Bhagalpur. At the same time, a woman crossing the road in Begusarai was crushed by a tractor and dragged for some distance.

Bus full of laborers overturned on GT Road in Gaya, two and a half dozen injured

About two and a half dozen laborers were injured when a bus overturned on GT Road near Taradih village on Thursday morning in Gaya. Most of the laborers aboard the bus are residents of different villages of Imamganj. About two dozen injured were brought to the Community Health Center Aamas where the injured were treated. It is said that all the laborers had gone to a place called Kapsia in Bhojpur 10 days ago to do plantation work. After completing the work, they were returning home by bus, when the bus became unbalanced at the said place and overturned on the divider built in the middle of GT Road. After the bus overturned, the men and women in it started shouting to save their lives. Hearing the sound, the local people ran and after breaking the glass, took out the injured and sent them to the CHC. Meanwhile, after getting the information, the local police also reached.

There were about 100 people in the bus

It is said that there were about one hundred people in the bus. But no one has been seriously injured. The doctor told that there is a possibility of breaking the legs of some people. While some have their heads torn off. There is information that some of the injured are being treated in a private clinic, while some have gone home. Let us tell you that Harni, Baghpur, Chatkarpur, Hariobara and Biraj of Salaiya police station of Narayanpur panchayat of Magra police station area have been planted in paddy. The laborers went to Tapasiya in Bhojpur district in two buses last Saturday. While returning, a vehicle full of laborers met with an accident on Thursday near Budhaul-Taradih of Aamas police station area.

Bus and truck collision in Bodh Gaya, driver-porter injured

A passenger bus and a truck collided head-on at around 12 o’clock on Wednesday night near the under-construction toll plaza, about one kilometer from Magadh University police station, on the Gaya-Dobhi road. In this incident, the passengers of the bus suffered minor injuries, but the driver and the helper of the bus and truck were seriously injured. On information, the police of Magadh University police station pulled out the driver trapped in the cabin of the truck in an injured condition after about two hours of effort and sent him for treatment. In this collision, the driver and the helper of the bus were also seriously injured, who were first sent to Magadh Medical Hospital and referred to Patna for better treatment. Later the driver of the truck was also referred to Patna.

Bus was going from Siwan to Jamshedpur

Significantly, the bus was going from Siwan to Jamshedpur, while the truck was going to Jehanabad after loading ballast. Due to the promptness of the police, the drivers trapped in the cabin of the bus and truck were pulled out with the help of JCB and gas cutter and were taken to Magadha Medical and Bodh Gaya CHC. The police station chief told that some passengers had minor injuries, they left for the destination in other trains at night itself. The bus and truck have been kept at the police station.

Bike collided with a truck parked on the roadside in Begusarai, one killed

On Thursday, on the Begusarai-Rosda main road SH-55, near Khodavandpur Pokhar, a bike rider hit a truck parked on the roadside, leaving both the youths seriously injured. As soon as the incident was reported, a crowd of dozens of local people and passers-by gathered and got the injured bike rider admitted to the Community Health Center, Khodavandpur for treatment, where the doctor on duty declared the seriously injured bike rider dead. While in the same incident, another youth is being treated in a local private clinic. The deceased bike rider was identified as Manish Kumar, 18-year-old son of Ghuran Das, resident of Ward 7 of Khodavandpur Panchayat, while the injured youth is Saroj Kumar, son of Mahavir Das of the same village.

Bike rider injured in road accident in Begusarai

A bike rider was seriously injured in a road accident on Thursday evening on Begusarai Rosda main road SH-55. The injured youth was identified as Raju Kumar, a resident of Khagaria. Eyewitnesses told that the bike rider was crossing the road fast. That’s why the truck going at a high speed from Rosda towards Begusarai came under the grip. Due to which the young man sitting on the bike got injured, while another young man narrowly escaped. The injured youth is the grandson of Bachchan Paswan, a resident of Matkora of Bariarpur West Panchayat, who works as a laborer in Nanihal along with some youths. As soon as the information about the incident was received, a crowd of dozens of people gathered and an atmosphere of panic was created for some time. The injured youth was treated at the local village doctor.

The container collided with a truck standing on the roadside, the driver died

Near Mamu-Bhanja, NH 31, Ballia police station area, an uncontrolled container truck coming from Khagaria rammed into a truck parked on the roadside late on Wednesday night, resulting in the death of the container driver on the spot. The deceased driver has been identified as Mo. Sohail Tanveer, 24-year-old son of Mo. Maqsood, a resident of Papraur in Begusarai district. After getting the information, Ballia police reached the spot, took the dead body in possession and sent it to Begusarai for postmortem. In this regard, Station Officer in-charge Rajeev Kumar Ranjan told that a truck was hit from behind by a container going from Khagaria to Begusarai. As a result, the container driver died after being buried under the vehicle. Whose dead body was pulled out with the help of JCB machine after a lot of effort. While the truck driver fled after the incident. Ballia police have registered an FIR after taking possession of both the vehicles and started investigating the matter.

Tractor crushed and dragged a woman crossing the road for some distance, died

Sahebpur Kamal. An uncontrolled tractor crushed a woman near Kalyanpur village on NH 31 and dragged her some distance. The woman was identified as Khushboo Kumari, 35-year-old wife of Kalyanpur resident Deepak Kumar Singh. Seeing this heart-wrenching incident, the villagers caught hold of the tractor driver, thrashed him mercilessly and handed him over to the police who reached the spot. In protest against the incident, the relatives and villagers blocked the NH by keeping the dead body on the road.

Two people died after being crushed by a container in Bhagalpur

Two people died on Thursday after being hit by a container in Bhagalpur. The accident happened on the Bhagalpur-Dumka road. Where Mukesh Sah and Dayanand Sah, who were riding on the bike, died after coming under the grip of a gas container. The incident happened near Baijani. Among the dead, one was an auto driver and the other a textile trader. The dead bodies of both were handed over to the relatives after the postmortem. The police seized the container.
