The body of a teenager was found floating in a pond in Banka district of Bihar. A case of kidnapping and murder of a teenager who was sleeping in his house in Sikanpur village has come to light. After committing the murder, the killers fled by throwing the body in the pond. After receiving the information, Rajoun police arrived, took the body into their custody and sent it to Banka for post-mortem. Police has started investigation by increasing the section of murder in the registered cases.
Taken away from home due to old rivalry, body thrown after murder
According to the information, on January 2, 14-year-old Dilkhush Kumar, son of Ramdev Yadav, was kidnapped in Sikanpur village of Chilkawar Asauta Panchayat due to old enmity. Kishore’s father had filed an application at Rajoun police station and accused four people of the village of kidnapping. The police registered the case and started investigation. Meanwhile, on Wednesday afternoon, the villagers saw the dead body of the kidnapped teenager floating in the pond outside the village. The family members reached the spot after the villagers created an uproar.

On the information of family members, Rajoun police reached the spot, took the body in their custody and sent it to Banka Sadar Hospital for post-mortem. The father of the deceased said that on the evening of January 1, the four accused from the village had forcefully entered his house, abused and assaulted him and had talked about killing his son. After this incident we got scared and slept at home. On the morning of 2 January, he left his son sleeping and went to weed the wheat field. When he returned home in the afternoon, he found his son missing from his house. After a lot of searching, when he was not found, a complaint about the incident was lodged at Rajoun police station. Even after the incident was registered, we made a lot of efforts to find the son, but were unsuccessful. On Wednesday afternoon, villagers informed that the son’s body was found in the pond. On reaching the spot, I saw that my son’s body was floating in the pond.

He also said that these four had murdered my son and thrown his body in the pond. All four accused are absconding from home since the incident. Police Station Head Manoj Kumar Singh said that the father of the deceased teenager had accused him of kidnapping. But after the body of the teenager was found, the police have started investigation by increasing the section of murder in the registered cases.
