Lakhisarai: A teacher was arrested for sexually abusing two minor girl students by blackmail. Taking prompt action on the complaint of the girl students, the police have also arrested the teacher’s wife and a hotel manager who were accompanying the teacher. The girl students allege that the teacher was blackmailing them for the last five years by making objectionable photos and videos of them. Along with this, he also sexually exploits many girls by threatening them.
Has made serious allegations of sexual abuse for five years
On Thursday, two minor girls along with their families lodged separate FIRs at Lakhisarai police station. In both the applications, the girls have made serious allegations against primary school teacher Amit Kumar of sexually abusing them for five years. The girls have said that Amit Kumar has made many objectionable pictures and videos of them and sexually exploits them by threatening to show them. Some videos had also gone viral in the village in the past. The girls have also named Vinod Kumar Gupta, the manager of Saryug Hotel, as an accused in their application. The girls said that Vinod used to cooperate with Amit Kumar in this work by taking money. Not only this, the girls have also put many shocking facts in front of the police. If the girls are to be believed, Amit Kumar’s wife Sahiba Kumari is also aware of this whole matter and she helps her husband in this work.
Interrogation of the arrested accused
Taking prompt action after registering an FIR on behalf of the girls, a team under the leadership of ASI Roshan Kumar started investigating and researching the matter. Town police station chief Chandan Kumar, SI Ranjan Kumar, Jyotish Kumar, Anamika Kumari were included in the team. The team raided and arrested Vinod Kumar Gupta, manager of Saryug Hotel, besides Amit and his wife Sahiba Kumari. The ASP told that Amit used to call girls at different places on the pretext of taking them to rented houses on the pretext of teaching them tuition, and blackmailing the girls by making videos and photos of them doing obscene acts and also used to sexually exploit them. He told that once or twice Amit had done this kind of act by taking a room on rent in the girls’ house itself. At present, all three are being interrogated. The ASP said that a mobile chip with objectionable photographs, sex enhancing drugs, condoms, two mobile phones and a DVR box of Saryug Hotel have been seized from these people. Police is investigating the case and interrogating the arrested accused.
