Bihar News: A student of the fourth session of Polytechnic College of Rampur Kodarkatti Panchayat, located on the Araria-Purnia forelane in Bihar, committed suicide by hanging himself. The deceased student has been identified as Pranay Kumar alias Pranay Raj’s father Sunil Pandey, a resident of Baghri village in Sitamarhi district. According to the information received, the deceased was a student of the fourth semester of Electrical Engineering of Pranay Kumar Polytechnic College. He was studying in the college by staying in a private lodge near Balu Chowk, Rampur Kodar Katti, located near the college.
Dead body found hanging from fan
Pranay Kumar was alone in his room. Whereas, many other students were staying in the adjoining rooms. The deceased Pranay Kumar locked his room from inside in the morning and did not leave the room till noon. After this, a call was given by the college student to have food at around 2 pm. After this there was no response from the room. When there was no response for a long time, a student peeped through the ventilator and saw Pranay’s dead body hanging from a rope in the fan. After that the young man was taken out from inside by breaking the door by the students.
Police engaged in investigation of the case
He was hurriedly taken to a private hospital by some college students. Where the treating doctor referred him to Sadar Hospital, again he was brought to Sadar Hospital by the students. Where the doctor declared dead. After which the information of the incident was given to the city police station and the principal of the polytechnic college. As soon as the information was received, the city police station, the principal of the college and other college personnel reached Sadar Hospital. From where the relatives of the deceased student were also informed about this. This incident has created chaos among the relatives of the deceased. At the same time, the police is engaged in the investigation of the case.
