Since January, foreign citizens from 11 countries have been arrested for illegal entry. Many of these people have also been arrested for their involvement in crime. Many people were arrested in the drug trafficking case. Recently, the incident of shooting of SSB jawan has also come to light in Motihari. Keeping this in view, security has been increased. The citizens arrested include citizens of countries like Bangladesh, Nepal, Sudan, Myanmar, China, Uganda, America, Nigeria etc.
