In this season huge crowd is being seen in trains. Crowds of people are being seen from railway stations to trains. There is long waiting in many trains. It has become difficult for people to get confirmed tickets. In such a situation, many steps are being taken for the passengers. Keeping in view the inconvenience of the passengers, efforts are being made by the Railways. Chief Public Relations Officer of Hajipur Zone, Virendra Kumar has given information in this matter. He has told that additional coach is being installed in Kolkata-Ghazipur City Express from November 5. Apart from this, additional coach will be added in Kolkata-Ghazipur City Express from November 6.
Additional coach in Kolkata-Patna Garib Rath Express
Additional coaches will be added to Kolkata-Patna Garib Rath Express from November 7. Apart from this, extra coach will be installed in Patna-Kolkata Garib Rath Express from next 8th November. Additional third tier AC coach will also be added in Asansol-Gonda Express from next 7th November and in Gonda-Asansol Express from next 8th November. The Chief Public Relations Officer has informed that for the convenience of the passengers, if necessary, additional coaches will be added to other trains also.
Announcement of operation of many special trains
It is noteworthy that in view of the convenience of the passengers and the extra crowd, the Railways has announced the operation of many special trains. It has been decided by the Railways to operate train number 02246/02245 New Delhi-Patna-New Delhi Gati Shakti Festival Superfast Special train between Patna and New Delhi. Special trains are also being operated from Pune and Valsad to Danapur and from Lokmanya Tilak Terminal to Danapur and Samastipur. Train numbers 01039/ 01040, 01415/ 01416 are being operated between Danapur and Pune, 09025/ 09026 between Danapur and Valsad, 01409/ 01410 between Danapur and Lokmanya Tilak Terminus and between Samastipur and Lokmanya Tilak Terminus.

A two-minute stoppage of Jabalpur-Howrah-Jabalpur Shaktipunj Express has been provided at Ramna station of Dhanbad division. Train No. 11447 Jabalpur-Howrah Shaktipunj Express will reach Ramna at 08.48 hrs and depart at 08.50 hrs. Similarly, 11448 Howrah-Jabalpur Shaktipunj Express will reach Ramna at 01.33 and depart at 01.35. Keeping in mind the convenience of the passengers, Railways has decided to make additional stoppage of the train.
Decision to operate Festival Special Express
Earlier, it was also decided to operate train number 02252/ 02251 New Delhi- Patna- New Delhi Vande Bharat Special Express and 02250/ 02249 New Delhi- Patna- New Delhi Rajdhani Festival Special Express between Patna and New Delhi. The operation of many special trains including Patna- Anand Vihar, Saharsa- New Delhi has also been announced by the Railways. It was also decided to operate Puja special train between Asansol and Anand Vihar via Dhanbad-Koderma-Gaya. At the same time, a decision has been taken to increase the number of coaches in many trains.
