Bihar News: A soldier from Siwan, Bihar has died in Jammu and Kashmir. He was posted on duty here. An Agniveer soldier from Siwan has died due to bullet injury under suspicious circumstances. The incident took place in Tanda area of Akhnoor, Jammu and Kashmir. A unit was deployed on duty on Tuesday evening. Pradeep Kumar Yadav, son of Shambhu Yadav, resident of Siwan, was also on duty. Meanwhile suddenly the sound of gunshot was heard. When other friends reached Pradeep, they saw that Pradeep had fallen down in an injured condition. The soldier was immediately admitted to the hospital. Here the doctors declared him dead. Pradeep Yadav was posted at the sentry post of 24 Field Regiment of Tanda area. Here, after this incident, the local army force has intensified the search operation.

Pradeep was 21 years old. Pradeep had joined Agniveer in the month of 21st February in the year 2022. Pradeep was the younger of two brothers. Pradeep’s elder brother Ravi has given the information. He told that some family discussion took place at 9:00 am on Tuesday. After that Ravi went to Siwan. When he returned home in the evening, he got a call from Pradeep’s commanding officer. Here the commanding officer told that Pradeep has been shot and he has been martyred. At the same time, after receiving the information, a crowd of people gathered at Pradeep’s door. However, Pradeep’s father Shambhu Yadav and mother Devanti Devi are still not aware of this. The parents only know that Pradeep has been shot. Hope he gets well.
‘It is a matter of pride to be martyred for the country’
Let us tell you that when Pradeep joined Agniveer for the first time. After this he came back to the village. At that time the villagers welcomed him with drums. Wearing a flower garland, he was respectfully brought to the door with drums, where the mother welcomed him by applying sandalwood tilak. Villagers say that it is a matter of pride for us that a soldier from our country has been martyred for the country. Pradeep’s brother Ravi told that the commanding officer has informed that at present the post mortem process is going on. After post-mortem, the body will be sent to Patna by flight. The body is expected to reach home by around 10:00 pm tonight or tomorrow. After this incident, brother Ravi is feeling bad and crying.
