Bihar: Six ROBs will be built in five districts including Muzaffarpur.

Bihar: Patna. Six ROBs will be built in five districts of the state at a cost of Rs 391 crore 21 lakh. Of these, one ROB each is to be constructed in Patna, Aurangabad, Muzaffarpur and Lakhisarai districts, while two ROBs will be constructed in Buxar district. The basic objective of constructing all these ROBs is to ensure uninterrupted movement of vehicles. At present, there are level crossings of railways at the places where these ROBs will be built. In such a situation, vehicles have to stop at the level crossing when the train passes. After the construction of ROB, vehicles will not have to stop while passing the train.

Central government will also help

According to sources, these ROBs will be constructed with the cooperation of the Central Government. The state government has approved the amount to be spent by it for its construction. Under this, the construction of RUB including approach road in lieu of level crossing located between Danapur-Phulwarisharif railway stations of Patna district will cost about Rs 86 crore 57 lakh 82 thousand. Out of this, the State share amount of Rs 71 crore 33 lakh 41 thousand has been given administrative approval by the Road Construction Department.

ROB will be built in Aurangabad district

ROB along with approach road will be constructed in place of level crossing on Navinagar railway yard path between Navinagar-Kajrat Nawadih railway stations of Aurangabad district. Its cost is about Rs 55 crore 72 lakh 39 thousand. Out of this, the Road Construction Department has given administrative approval of the state share amount of Rs 28 crore 68 lakh 29 thousand.

ROB in Muzaffarpur district

Construction of ROB in place of level crossing located between Muzaffarpur-Narayanpur Anant railway stations of Muzaffarpur district will cost about Rs 48 crore 1 lakh 60 thousand. Its state share amounting to Rs 22 crore 75 lakh 46 thousand has been approved. Rs 67 crore 29 lakh 12 thousand will be spent on constructing ROB in place of level crossing located between Kiul-Banshipur railway stations of Lakhisarai district. Administrative approval has been given for its state share amounting to Rs 35 crore 40 lakh 30 thousand.

Two ROBs in Buxar district

According to sources, ROB will be constructed in lieu of level crossing located between Dumraon-Varuna railway stations of Buxar district at a cost of about Rs 57 crore 44 lakh 54 thousand. For this, administrative approval of Rs 34 crore 19 lakh 50 thousand was given as state share. Is. Along with this, the cost of building ROB instead of level crossing located between Raghunathpur-Twiniganj railway stations of Buxar district is about Rs 76 crore 18 lakh 99 thousand. Its state share amounting to Rs 49 crore 95 lakh three thousand has been given administrative approval.
