Bihar Road Accident: There was a massive collision between a bus and a truck in Singhwada, Darbhanga today, in which more than half of the people are reported to have been injured. After receiving information about the incident, the police reached the spot and started investigating the matter. The injured have currently been sent to DMCH for treatment.
The incident is said to have happened around 3 pm when a bus and a truck collided during an overtake on the Muzaffarpur-Darbhanga four lane. Actually both the vehicles were going towards Darbhanga in the same lane. In this accident, the truck overturned and rolled in a field about 20 feet below the road. At the same time, the bus also landed in the field.
Half a dozen people are said to be injured in the said incident. All the injured are said to be residents of Madhubani. Here, on receiving information about the incident, the police has started investigating the matter. At present, all the injured have been sent to DMCH for treatment. The police station chief said that a watchman has just been deployed at the spot.
