RJD leaders say that Congress was given the option in the meeting to choose one seat in Bhagalpur, Katihar and Kishanganj. Congress is likely to get six seats. Congress leaders claim that only the Congress party will get the ticket from Bhagalpur. The names of the candidates will be released on Thursday. Here, three Congress leaders involved in the ticket race said that names can be decided on all the nine seats by Thursday afternoon.

Struggle on other seats including Bhagalpur

According to sources, in the meeting of India Alliance, there was a tussle regarding Lok Sabha seats other than Bhagalpur. In the CEC meeting, there was a lot of discussion between Congress and RJD regarding Purnia and Katihar seats. The controversy also deepened over distributing symbols to its candidates without consent. An agreement was also reached in the meeting regarding Aurangabad and Begusarai seats. Congress proposed to give ticket to Kanhaiya Kumar from Begusarai. Whereas the Left candidate is likely to get the ticket from here.

Central Election Committee meeting will be held again on March 31

Giving information about the CEC meeting held in Patna, a Congress leader from Bhagalpur said that the CEC will meet again on March 31. Efforts will be made to end all kinds of deadlock for the next three days.

Here, Congress District President Parvez Jamal said that it was decided in the meeting that Congress will be given nine seats including Bhagalpur, Patna Sahib, Kishanganj, Katihar, Samastipur, Muzaffarpur, Bettiah.
