With the arrival of the result of the intermediate examination in Bihar, the admission in graduation (Graduation Admission 2023) preparations have started. Students of Bihar’s Law University are doing rounds. In such a situation, enrollment in the undergraduate session 2023-26 in BRA Bihar University (college admissionA roadmap has been prepared regarding this. Although when the portal will open for the application, it has not been decided. But, after May 31, neither the application of any candidate will be taken, nor the name of any college will be added on the portal. On the other hand, the process of enrollment will be completed in the summer vacation i.e. June. Time will be given for enrollment till June 30 and graduation classes will be started in colleges from July 15 in any case.
CBSE 12th exam result to come in April
DSW Prof Abhay Kumar Singh said that a calendar has been prepared for enrollment in graduation and sent to the Vice Chancellor for approval. Bihar Board has released the Inter result. In the second fortnight of April, the CBSE Inter result will also come. After this the portal will be opened for the application. He informed that it has been decided to open the portal for applications by May 31.
The calendar will be strictly followed to regularize the session
There is pressure from the government and the Raj Bhavan to regularize the session. In such a situation, the university officials have also indicated to show strictness. DSW said that the proposed calendar will be implemented after the permission of the Vice-Chancellor. Along with this, every effort will be made that there should be no change in it. He said that after getting the affiliation of the colleges, the names will be added on the portal. While the process of application is going on, the names of the colleges whose affiliation will be received from the government will be linked, that is, enrollment of this session will not be possible in the colleges coming after May 31. Let us tell you that till October last year, four colleges came with affiliation from the government, for which a separate portal had to be opened.
Five college and three subject options will have to be given
The format of application on the UMIS portal is being changed from this year, so that in case of non-availability of seats in any subject, the portal does not have to be opened again and again to change the options. Candidates will have to give the option of five colleges and three subjects in the first attempt itself. Till last year, the option of one subject and three colleges was taken. In some subjects including History, Geography, Hindi, there were many times more applications than the seats, the candidates got the opportunity to give the option of other subjects.
PG session will be regular by next year
DSW Pro Abhay Kumar Singh told that if everything continues as per the fixed calendar, then by next year the PG session will also become regular. Due to graduation, PG session is also derailed. Currently the evaluation of third year of graduation session 2019-22 is going on. After the release of its result, the process of enrollment for PG session 2022-24 will be completed. At the same time, the final result of graduation session 2020-23 is proposed till November. After the release of the result, the preparation for the admission of PG session 2023-25 will be started. In such a situation, admission for session 2024-26 can be taken next year.
