Party patron cum former Chief Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi has expressed his pain in an open forum for not giving huge portfolios to the party after the formation of the NDA government in Bihar. Earlier, during a program in Gaya, he said that our party got a place in the cabinet, but the same old department has been given to it. After this, while returning to Patna from Mahakar in his village Gaya, while talking to the media persons at the Circuit House in Jehanabad, he said that we are demanding two ministerial posts.

In Jehanabad, Manjhi said that one roti does not fill my stomach, hence he is demanding two-three rotis. But this is a matter of our house and we are demanding from our leader. Manjhi said that we do politics of the poor, hence we should be given such a department with which we can work for the development of rural areas and the poor. The Chief further said that we have already been saying that the department I have been getting. It is not right that my son has also got the same department.
I and later my son were also given the same department
Earlier, while addressing a meeting in Wazirganj, Gaya, Manjhi said that for the second time, we from the party have been given a place in the state cabinet. But, the same old department has been given. Since 1983, I and later my son were also given the same department. Don’t we have the right to work for the development of the state? They are given Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Caste status every time.
Do we not have the right to the department that installs roads and hand pumps?
Manjhi said that Barachatti MLA Jyoti Manjhi has expressed her displeasure over this. The MLA asked whether he does not have the right to get the department of setting up roads, hand pumps etc. Manjhi also made it clear through gestures that he is not satisfied with the portfolio given to Santosh Kumar Suman.
will fight for rights
While making a mention, Manjhi said that Nitish Kumar had made him the Chief Minister. When they started working, no one liked it. In his speech, the former Chief Minister also enumerated the works done during his tenure as Chief Minister. He said that we are with Nitish Kumar and Narendra Modi. But, we will fight for our rights in the assembly also. Can’t be afraid of anyone.

NDA government will remain intact
Jitan Ram Manjhi also said that the floor test of the NDA government is to be held in the Assembly on January 12, it will definitely be successful. No one raises the question of if-but in this and the new NDA government will remain intact in Bihar.
