Hindustani Awam Morcha convenor and former Chief Minister of Bihar Jitan Ram Manjhi (Jitan Ram Manjhi) are once again in the news. ‘Garib Sankalp Sabha’ was organized by ‘Hum’ on Sunday (4 February) in the Wazirganj College campus of Gaya. Actually, earlier Jitan Ram Manjhi was demanding two ministries in the new NDA government. However, he got only one department and his son Santosh Suman was made the minister. But by discussing the portfolio he has got, many political questions were also raised. Along with this, he also discussed the work he had done when he was the Chief Minister. Discussing the press club, he said that due to my efforts, press clubs were formed in every district, but till now they have not been handed over to the journalists. He further said that due to our efforts, about seven lakh landless people were given land for housing. But till date they have not been able to interfere in it.
Seek votes for NDA alliance
Addressing the gathering, Manjhi said that in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, we have to win all the seats in Bihar with the NDA alliance. On the other hand, Manjhi said that the number of landless in Bihar is 14 lakh while the government land is 16 lakh acres. He has demanded to give one acre of land to each landless person. Said that our party will run a campaign to register the land to the ticket holders. He clearly said that ‘Hum’ party has always been fighting for the poor.
