Palm tree removed with the help of machines

A palm tree fell near Sabour station at 11.43 pm. Due to this, there was chaos among the railway administration. Then train up 3415 Malda-Patna Intercity Express reached Sabour station. He was stopped from going further. With the help of machines from the railway administration, the palm tree was removed. Then the Malda-Patna train was sent from Sabour towards Bhagalpur. The departure time of this train at Bhagalpur is 11.53, but this train reached at 4.14 in the morning. Up 13483 Malda Town to Delhi from Bhagalpur station Malda Town – Delhi Farakka Express departed at 11.37 on time. As soon as we crossed the outer and went some distance, the electricity stopped. Due to this the train stopped.

The situation became normal when the tree was removed.

Rail operations on the Bhagalpur-Hansdiha railway line between Bhagalpur station and Tikani station were completely disrupted from late night till 7.10 am on Sunday. After about five hours of effort, the tree was removed by the railwaymen, then the operation became normal. During this, many passenger trains including Deoghar Agartala, Banka Intercity Express were standing at various stations.
