Bihar: Pachhua wreaks havoc, six dead due to fire, loss worth crores

Bihar: Patna-Muzaffarpur. Six people, including four children, died in the fire caused by the westerly wind blowing across the state. The standing wheat crop was destroyed in these fire incidents. Wheat crop grown in 250 acres in Rosra and Shivajinagar of Samastipur was destroyed. 80 year old Jai Narayan Mishra was burnt alive to death in Bada Jagannath of Ahiyapur, Muzaffarpur. At the same time, a one and a half year old innocent girl was burnt alive in a fire in Soti Bhediyahi of Kanti block of Muzaffarpur. She was identified as Neha Kumari, daughter of Akhilesh Mallik.

Cylinder blast, brother and sister died

On the other hand, the houses of 10 people were burnt in the fire that broke out on Tuesday in Gopalpur village of Mohammadpur police station area of ​​Gopalganj. In this, two children died due to scorching, while one person got seriously burnt. While trying to save one person, he got seriously burnt. The deceased were identified as Nishani Kumari (6-years), daughter of Brajesh Mahato, and Kuldeep Kumar (2-years). After receiving the information, the fire brigade team reached the spot and after much effort brought the fire under control. Police is investigating how the fire broke out.

Wheat crop along with a house burnt to ashes, loss worth lakhs

Dayanand Rai’s 10-year-old daughter Aaliya burnt to death in a fire in ward number five of Rustampur village in Vaishali. The couple also got burnt. Five houses were burnt in this incident. Three cows died due to scorching, while two cows were badly burnt. The fire brigade reached the spot and controlled the fire with the help of local people. After receiving information about the incident, the veterinary officer did not reach the spot. 40 houses were burnt on Monday night in Maheshua village of Sadar block of Madhepura, Bhagalpur. In this incident a girl was burnt alive. The deceased was identified as Komal Kumari, seven-year-old daughter of Shravan Kumar Das, resident of Maheshua.

VTR forest fire

Due to day by day increasing heat and strong westerly wind, incidents of fire have increased in the forest areas of VTR. In the same sequence, on Tuesday, the evergreen forest got burnt and destroyed due to a fire in the forest area of ​​Madanpur Forest Division 2. There was difficulty in extinguishing the fire due to strong westerly wind. The forest was burning. Forests and wildlife are being affected by this fire. However, the team of forest personnel had to face a lot of trouble in extinguishing the fire. Gaurishankar Dubey, forest guard of Rampur forest complex of Madanpur forest range, said that anti-social elements had set fire to the forest of forest room number six. On receiving information about which, the fire was brought under control with the team of forest personnel.
