Bihar News: NIA raided Bhagalpur on Thursday. The NIA team reached Rangra under police district Navgachia early in the morning where the house of block chief Moti Yadav was raided. The NIA team entered Moti Yadav’s house at 4 in the morning. The raid continued till around 1 o’clock. Information has been received that a case was registered against Moti Yadav in NIA. In this connection, the NIA team had arrived with a house search warrant. Moti Yadav was not present in the house during the raid.
Raid on Rangra block chief’s house
On Thursday, a team of NIA reached the house of Rangra block chief Sanjeev Kumar alias Moti Yadav in Rangra. The NIA team had brought a warrant to search the house. In this sequence, NIA searched Moti Yadav’s house. According to the information, Moti Yadav was not present in the house. When the NIA team arrived, Moti Yadav’s wife and his brother were present in the house. After conducting the raid till around 1 o’clock, NIA officers and personnel returned.
Rangra police station is also present
Let us tell you that Moti Yadav had won unopposed in the main elections. His mother is the head of Chapar. Moti Yadav is also very active in assembly politics. The news of this NIA raid has spread like wildfire. Information was received from local police sources that when the NIA team reached Rangra, cooperation was also sought from the district police. After which the police of Rangra police station was also present during the raid.
Income tax raid in Barari, Bhagalpur
It is noteworthy that on Thursday, while on one side NIA was conducting raids in Navgachia in Bhagalpur, on the other side the Income Tax team reached Barari police station area to conduct raids. The Income Tax Department team reached the house of property dealer Shankar Yadav in Housing Board Colony early in the morning and conducted a raid. Both actions remained the topic of discussion in the city throughout the day.
