Bihar News: What will happen to employed teachers if they fail three times in the competency test? KK Pathak will decide

Lakhs of Bihar employed teachers Will soon get the status of a government employee. For this, teachers will have to pass a competency test. The application process for this has started. The last date for online application is 15 February. The examination will be conducted by Bihar School Examination Board from 26th February to 13th March. Employed teachers will be given three chances to pass the competency test. What will be the further provision for those who do not pass or do not appear in the competency test even in three attempts? Will his job be saved or not? To consider this, the Education Department has constituted a committee under the chairmanship of Additional Chief Secretary KK Pathak.

According to the information, this committee will give its recommendation to the government within a week. The department has issued the order for formation of the committee on Thursday. There are five members in the committee. In which Chairman of Bihar School Examination Committee, Director Primary Education, Director State Education Research and Training Council and Director Secondary Education have been made members. All the members will take decisions together under the chairmanship of KK Pathak.

The rules will be amended on the recommendation of the committee

According to official information, a provision was made in the Special Teacher Manual that if the employed teacher is unable to pass the competency test, then a committee will be formed to consider his case. Whatever this committee will recommend. With that recommendation, the local body teacher manual will be deemed amended to the same extent.

After the decision of the competency examination, there has been increased concern among the employed teachers as to what will happen to those who do not succeed in this examination. Will he lose his job? A committee has been formed to consider this matter.

Employed teachers have already received guidelines. In which it was said that the competency test will be conducted by Bihar School Examination Committee. In the examination, there will be examination of 19 subjects from 9th to 10th and 31 subjects from 11th to 12th. 150 objective type questions will be asked in this examination. Application for this has started from February 1st.

These documents will be required at the time of application

  • Aadhar card

  • employment letter

  • Educational/Training/TET/Certificate of Proficiency

  • Photo and signature

  • Certificate related to disability and reservation

  • Apart from this, information about the type of employment unit, current employment unit, type of teacher and subject in which appointment has been made and the number and date of the employment letter is to be given.

  • UDISE code, name, block and district information of the current school has to be given.

  • Option of three districts has been given for posting which has to be selected.

Re-view option will also be given in the online form.

Teacher candidates will also be given the option of re-view to correct the errors while filling the online form for the competency test. After completing the process of filling the form in eight different steps, candidates will be given the option of review button. Candidates can see their errors and make improvements through the re-view button.
