Bihar News After the death of a prisoner in Mandal Jail Madhepura in Bihar on Tuesday morning, there was a huge uproar in the jail. After this, Pagli bell was rung and a large number of police were called from outside and the prisoners were controlled. During the uproar, many doors were broken and arson also took place.
It is alleged that undertrial prisoner Gulsagar Kumar has been beaten to death. Seeing the dead body of their fellow prisoner, other prisoners also got angry and this kind of incident happened. According to the information, an undertrial prisoner died in jail at around 6.15 am on Tuesday. After which the fellow prisoners became enraged and started protesting. When other prisoners became agitated, the police had to take charge. Family members allege that prisoner Gulsagar Kumar was beaten severely by the police, after which he died.

Family members told that another prisoner called from the jail and informed that Gulsagar was being beaten, after which when they reached in the morning, he was dead. After the death, other prisoners became enraged and started creating ruckus inside. Later a large number of police forces were called. Many policemen have also been injured in this incident. After getting the information, senior officers also reached the spot and started investigation.

Undertrial prisoner Gulsagar was lodged in the murder case of Sushil Kumar, a person from his village Singheshwar Kateya. The hearing of the case was going on. Family members say that when he came to meet them 15 days ago, he had expressed fear of murder while giving information about being beaten and tortured inside the jail. Gul Sagar has three small children. His wife is fainting again and again while crying.
