Bihar News: Drone operation is now being conducted by STF in Naxal affected areas of Lakhisarai district. For which two high resolution drones have been provided to Lakhisarai from the state headquarters. Regarding this, STF has been running a campaign in Naxal affected areas for the last two days with the help of District Police.
Naxalites are being searched using drones
In this regard, ASP Operation Moti Lal said that on Monday, STF and District Police conducted a search operation in the hilly and forested areas through drones in the Naxal affected Piri Bazaar and Kajra police station areas. On Tuesday, an operation was conducted through drones in the areas of Chanan and Bannubagicha police station areas.
Continuous campaign against Naxalites
Let us tell you that in the last few years, the District Police, STF and SSB have been carrying out effective campaigns in the Naxal affected areas of the region. As a result, some hardcore Naxalites of the area also surrendered and many Naxalites have also been caught by the police. Due to which an atmosphere of peace is being seen in the area for some time. At the same time, SSB, District Police and STF are continuously running operations against the Naxalites remaining in the area.
District police has found two high resolution drones
At present, in view of the Lok Sabha elections, the state government has made available two drones with high resolution to completely crack down on the Naxalites. Due to which now the district police is keeping an eye from the ground as well as from the sky.
Drones can be monitored in an area of six to seven kilometers.
According to the information received, the high resolution drone obtained by the district police can be monitored in an area of about six to seven kilometers by sitting at one place. Due to which the police will now be able to keep an eye on the Naxal affected area. In this regard, ASP campaign said that search operations are being conducted continuously in Naxal affected areas. The activities of Naxalites are being continuously monitored. Now getting the drone camera will help in conducting the operation more effectively.
