Bihar News: Another female constable has attempted suicide in Bihar. Shweta Suman (26), a female constable, resident of Karakat in Rohtas district, posted at Sono police station in Jamui district, attempted suicide on Wednesday morning. In her room at the police station, the said woman constable tied a dupatta around her neck and hung herself from the fan. In a hurry, under the leadership of Police Station Head Dinanath Singh, other police officers and the police force broke the door, rescued him from the trap and brought him to the Community Health Center Sono, where after initial treatment, he was referred to Jamui Sadar Hospital for better treatment.
According to the information received, female constable Shweta Suman attempted suicide in her room in Sono police station premises. When the female constable was about to commit suicide, she made a video call to one of her female constable friends. She was showing him the suicide live. After which the colleague of the said female constable immediately informed the Sono police station in-charge about the situation. As soon as this information was received, the station in-charge took immediate action.
On knowing that the female constable was committing suicide, the Sono police station chief immediately sent police station officials and other personnel to the spot. The police team broke the door of the lady constable’s room and entered inside. Female constable Shweta Suman was going to commit suicide by hanging herself in the room. He was saved in time. The female constable was immediately brought to Sadar Hospital Jamui where she is currently undergoing treatment and the doctor has declared her out of danger.
According to the information received, female constable Shweta is married and is the mother of a seven-year-old son. The exact reason behind the suicide attempt has not been revealed yet, but it is being said that the constable may have taken this step due to family dispute. In fact, it is being said that her relationship with her husband is not cordial. The issue of divorce has also come up. It is being speculated that perhaps due to the tension arising from this dispute, he tried to commit suicide around 9 am on Wednesday. She attempted suicide when the other two female constables living with her had gone on duty and Shweta was alone in the room.
