The demonstration ended on the assurance of BEO

People calmed down when the BEO assured the protesters that the students would be enrolled in the nearest higher secondary school. After being assured, the protesters removed the road block.

Students face problems due to school being far away

Balram Mandal, representative of ward 56 councilor Kismatiya Devi, says that the problem arises due to the absence of a higher secondary school in the ward. The students of the ward have to travel three to four kilometers to go to school and study. This causes a lot of trouble. He said that the government’s plan to convert middle school into high school has also not been implemented yet.
