Bihar News Students studying in class 11th in degree colleges of the state have been protesting for the last five days against transfer of enrollment to Plus Two schools. BJP leaders also took to the streets on the arrest of protesting students

The SDO talked to the protesting students and tried to convince them. But the protesting students were continuously raising slogans against the education department. The police detained four students, which the students protested fiercely. BJP leaders also took to the streets against this action of the police. Demonstration gained momentum after nomination transfer process started

According to the Education Department order, there will be no class 12 studies in degree colleges from the session 2024-25. For this, an order was issued to send students studying in class 11th to Plus Two schools in the session 2023-25. Students say that they have already paid the fees in the college, now from where will they get the money for transfer to Plus Two school. Bihar School Examination Committee has also issued an advertisement regarding transfer of nominations. Students studying in degree colleges will have to select Plus Two schools from 21st to 31st March. Students are demanding cancellation of this advertisement.
