Bihar News: An 18-year-old girl from Parvatta police station Jagatpur in Bhagalpur district of Bihar posted a picture on social media waving her arms to show her tension. It went viral as soon as the post was posted on Instagram. When the police got information about this, they reached the girl’s house to investigate. Yavati was not found in the house but a country made pistol was definitely found in the house. After this the police arrested the girl’s father Vedanand Yadav.
Photo of girl carrying a pistol went viral
In this regard, Navagachia Superintendent of Police Puran Kumar Jha said that Parvatta Police Station Head had received information that a photo of a girl with a pistol in her hand was going viral on social media. When the police station in-charge investigated the viral photo, it was found that the photo was of Sakshi Kumari, daughter of Vedanand Yadav of Jagatpur.
When the police station head reached the house of Vedanand Yadav in Cattle Hatia Jagatpur to verify the information, a person started running away after seeing the police. But with the help of police personnel he was caught. After this, when he was asked about the viral picture, he told that this photo is of his daughter Sakshi Kumari. He also did not give any satisfactory answer regarding the weapon.
Katta recovered from girl’s house
While searching the house of the arrested person, the police recovered a pistol from thatched hut. After which an FIR was registered against him under the Arms Act in Parvatta police station, in which Vedanand Yadav and his daughter Sakshi Kumari have been named accused. Police have arrested Vedanand Yadav and sent him to jail.
Raids to arrest the girl
The police is investigating the matter. Where did Vedanand Yadav get the weapon from? For what purpose has he kept the weapon with him? Sakshi Kumari is absconding. Police is conducting raids to arrest him.
